POPLAR BLUFF MULES GATORADE GAME SET FOR THIS WEEKEND
The Poplar Bluff Mules football team will be kicking off the fall season this week with the annual maroon/white scrimmage.
The Mules Football Gatorade Game will be held Saturday at 7 pm at Poplar Bluff High School. Officials say that they will be taking sports drink donations at the door for admission.
Today’s Talk KWOC will be covering the scrimmage live Saturday beginning at 6:45 pm on the KWOC Facebook and River Radio Youtube pages.
BONESTOCK RETURNS THIS OCTOBER TO POPLAR BLUFF
A Southeast Missouri music tradition is returning this fall.
Bonestock 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd at Ray Clinton Park in Poplar Bluff.
The full lineup of bands that will be performing at this year’s Bonestock will be announced at a special event starting at 5 pm tonight at Haffy’s in Downtown Poplar Bluff.
A portion of proceeds from this year’s Bonestock will go to benefit the Animal Welfare Alliance.
DEADLINE APPROACHING TO REGISTER FOR FALL CLASSES AT THREE RIVERS COLLEGE
The deadline is approaching to get registered for Fall semester classes at Three Rivers College.
Registration is open for the Fall semester through Friday, August 21st. The first day for classes will be Monday, August 24th.

OPEN HOUSES TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK IN THE TWIN RIVERS SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Twin Rivers School District will be holding multiple open houses next week.
According to school officials, the back to school open houses have been scheduled for 5 to 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 20th, at both the Fisk and Qulin campuses.
Families will get to meet their children’s teachers and tour classrooms during the event.
REGISTRATION AVAILABLE FOR WOMEN’S FALL SOFTBALL LEAGUE IN POPLAR BLUFF
Registration is available for the women’s fall softball league in Poplar Bluff.
Officials with Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation say that team registrations are being accepted through Saturday and the cost is $350 per team.

POPLAR BLUFF PARKS AND RECREATION TO HOST CRUISE IN DOWNTOWN TONIGHT
Tonight will be the perfect night to check out some cool cars in Butler County.
Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation will be hosting the Downtown Poplar Bluff Cruise-In from 6 to 8 pm on Vine Street between 5th Street and Broadway.
Officials say that drivers are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to start time.
