REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION THAT LEADS TO THE DISCOVERY OF A MISSING SOUTHEAST MISSOURI MAN
Updating a story we have been following for you, a reward is now being offered for information about a missing man.
According to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office, 43 year old Camden Allgier, was last seen at his home on the 700 block of Mott Street in New Madrid on December 19, 2025.
He frequently travels on foot and is considered missing/endangered due to a medical condition that puts him at risk. Allgier is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue jacket.
Deputies say multiple searches have already been conducted around Allgier’s home.

Allgier’s family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the location or return of Allgier.
PARAGOULD MAN ARRESTED ON TWO COUNTS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT
Authorities in Northeast Arkansas have arrested an area man on multiple counts of sexual assault.
According to a court affidavit, on Monday a juvenile told an Arkansas State Police investigator that 45 year old Joshua Matheney, of Paragould, had touched them inappropriately on multiple occasions since late November.
During an interview, Matheney reportedly admitted to inappropriately touching the victim.
Matheney was arrested on two counts of felony 2nd degree sexual assault and held in the Greene County Jail.
ANNUAL COUNT OF HOMELESS POPULATION TO BE HELD THIS MONTH
An area organization is participating in a survey to determine the homeless population in Missouri.
The Point in Time Count will be held the night of Wednesday, January 28th.
FCC Behavioral Health will be conducting a survey of homeless individuals and families in the area to help the community get a better understanding of the needs of people who are experiencing homelessness.
FCC Behavioral Health will be leading the count for Butler, Carter, Reynolds, Wayne, and Ripley Counties.
Community volunteers are needed to help complete surveys. If you are interested in volunteering, call 573-575-4229.
FRIENDS OF WAPPAPELLO LAKE TO HOST MONTHLY MEETING TONIGHT
The Friends of Wappapello Lake will be hosting their first meeting of the year tonight in Wappapello.
The meeting will begin at 6 pm at the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center.
The Friends of Wappapello Lake puts on many events in the Wappapello Lake area, including Movie in the Park and the Festival of Lights Auto Tour.
Organizers say they are looking at big things for this year and need new volunteers to share ideas to help accomplish these goals.
DRAINAGE PROJECT SET FOR THIS WEEK IN DUNKLIN COUNTY
Route H in Dunklin County will be reduced this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage work.
The section of roadway being reduced is located from County Road 200 to County Road 206 near Campbell.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday.
DRAINAGE REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY IN BLOOMFIELD
Route J in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage repairs.
The section of Route J being reduced is located from Tower Drive to Route AA in Bloomfield.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both today and tomorrow.
