ROADWORK TO CAUSE DELAYS TODAY ON MULTIPLE BUTLER COUNTY ROADWAYS
MODOT crews will be working today in multiple locations in Butler County.
Route 51 in Butler County will be reduced from Route FF to Route 60 near Fisk so crews can perform pavement repairs.
That work zone will be in place from 8 am to 11 am.
Crews will then move to Route DD, which will be reduced between Route 51 and Route 60 from 11:30 am to 3 pm.
46TH ANNUAL OLD GREENVILLE BLACKPOWDER RENDEZVOUS AND 34TH ANNUAL OLD GREENVILLE DAYS SET FOR THIS WEEKEND
Two major community events will be coming together this weekend in the Greenville area.
The 46th Annual Old Greenville Blackpowder Rendezvous, presented by the US Army Corps of Engineers at Wappapello Lake and the East Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, will be held along with the 34th Annual Old Greenville Days on September 20th and 21st at the Greenville Recreation Area.
There will be multiple events and entertainment options available and admission is free to the public.

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI OFFICIALS WARNING OF FAKE $100 BILLS IN THE COMMUNITY
Officials in a Southeast Missouri community are warning business leaders and area residents that there have been reports of fake currency in the area.
According to the Malden Department of Public Safety, there has been an increase in fake $100 bills going around the community.
The bills are lacking certain security features that exist but mark with the money tester pen.
Police officials say that if you come across a bill that looks odd or seems off, contact the Malden DPS at 573-276-2211.
PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND AT SAM A BAKER STATE PARK IN WAYNE COUNTY
A town-hall meeting has been scheduled for this weekend in Wayne County to allow local residents to learn more about Sam A. Baker State Park.
The meeting has been scheduled for 10 am at Shelter #1 located at 5580 State Highway 143 in Patterson.
The public is invited to meet with park representatives, ask questions and share comments during the meeting.
HUNTER EDUCATION CLASS TO BE HELD IN DONIPHAN
A hunter education class will be held next month in Doniphan.
The Hunter Education Skills Session has been scheduled for Saturday, October 4th at the Doniphan High School Career Center. The event will be from 8 am to noon.
Students must be 11 years of age or older to attend and have completed the Knowledge Portion of the Hunter Education course before attending.
Hunter Education books are available for free at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.

ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR TODAY NEAR BELL CITY
Route N in Stoddard County will be closed today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The section of roadway being reduced is located from County Road 512 to Route Y near Bell City.
Weather permitting, work will take place today from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
