MISSING HAYTI MAN FOUND DEAD
A man who was reported missing earlier this week out of Hayti has been found dead.
Few details are available, but officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say that 69 year old Andrew Page was found deceased.
An Endangered Silver Advisory was issued earlier this week after Page went missing.
No information has been released on where Page was found or a possible cause of death.
MISSOURI SALES TAX HOLIDAY BEGINS TODAY
Missouri’s annual back to school sales tax holiday begins today.
According to the Missouri Department of Revenue, the tax holiday will run from through this Sunday.
During this time, certain back-to-school purchases such as school supplies, computers, clothing and other qualifying items as defined by statute are exempt from all state and local sales tax or use tax taxes.
Eligible items include clothing that does not have a taxable value of more than $100 and personal computers that do not cost more than $1,500, among other items.

LINEUP FOR BONESTOCK 2025 TO BE ANNOUNCED TODAY
You can find out the lineup for this year’s Bonestock later today.
The Bonestock announcement event will be held today from 3 to 5 pm at Midway RV Park and Cabin Rentals in Fairdealing.
Artist announcements will also be announced live on Z95 the bone and the Z95 the Bone Facebook page.
Bonestock 2025 will be held on Saturday, October 4th, at Ray Clinton Park in Poplar Bluff. This year, Bonestock will be raising money to help local veterans.
TEEN FLOWN TO MEMPHIS HOSPITAL FOLLOWING CRASH NEAR RISCO
A Risco teenager was flown to a regional hospital Thursday following a crash in Dunklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 16 year old male was driving on Dunklin County Road 246 and ran off the side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
The driver suffered moderate injuries and was flown to a Memphis Children’s Hospital for treatment. A passenger in the vehicle received minor injuries.
38TH ANNUAL PICTURES BY THE PEOPLE EXHIBITION BEGINS ON SATURDAY
Entries for the 38th Annual Pictures by the People contest will be available for viewing beginning on Sunday at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff.
Photos for the contest have been accepted throughout the summer from local and area photographers. There will be a top prize of $100 for the best overall photo, which will also become a part of the museum’s permanent collection.
The opening reception and ice cream social has been scheduled for 5 to 7 pm on Sunday. The exhibition will be available for viewing through August 31st.

THE TIMOTHY FOUNDATION TO HOST BACK TO SCHOOL BASH ON SATURDAY
The Timothy Foundation will be hosting a Back to School Bash on Saturday in Poplar Bluff.
The event has been scheduled for 10 am to 2 pm at Westwood Baptist Church.
Children who attend will be able to receive free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and shoes.
The Timothy Foundation of Poplar Bluff is a non-profit that exists to develop, maintain, and improve lifelong learning for individuals in Southeast Missouri.
