FORMER BUTLER COUNTY CORONER ANDY MOORE’S FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND EMBALMER LICENSE REVOKED BY STATE

A Missouri state board has announced actions taken against the former Coroner for Butler County.

The State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors has revoked the funeral director and embalmer licenses of Andrew Trammel Moore.

According to a release, the action was taken due to Moore providing false statements on a death certificate related to final disposition for one individual and failing to file a death certificate for another individual. Moore’s conduct caused harm to the family members of the deceased individuals in Butler County.

The revocation of these licenses means Moore can no longer represent himself as an embalmer or funeral director or perform functions that require an embalmer or funeral director license.
