COURT CASE FOR ROBERT KNODELL MOVED TO FEBRUARY

A court date for Poplar Bluff City Manager Robert Knodell has been delayed until next month.

According to officials in DeSoto County, Mississippi, Knodell was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, however Knodell asked for a continuance, which was granted.

Knodell was arrested in October for driving under the influence. In December he announced that he was taking a period of leave from his duties as City Manager and is undergoing an inpatient treatment program.

The new court date has been set for 9 am on February 12th.

ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH NEAR HOLCOMB

One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in the Bootheel.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 63 year old Holcomb man was riding a motorcycle on Highway 25, in Dunklin County, when he struck two vehicles while making a pass.

The man suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a Poplar Bluff hospital.

DEADLINE IS TODAY TO REGISTER FOR SPRING CLASSES AT THREE RIVERS COLLEGE

The deadline is almost here for you to get registered for classes at Three Rivers College.

Today is the final day to register for the Spring semester. The first day for classes will be next Monday, January 12th.

FREE RECYCLED EYEGLASSES CLINIC TO BE OFFERED IN POPLAR BLUFF

The Poplar Bluff Lions Club will be hosting a free recycled eyeglasses clinic this weekend.

The event will be from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday at the Poplar Bluff Library Ridgel Branch on Kanell Boulevard.

Attendees will receive a free vision screening and free recycled eyeglasses.

CREWS TO CLOSE PORTION OF ROUTE FF IN BUTLER COUNTY TODAY

Route FF in Butler County will be closed for part of today so crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation can replace a culvert under the roadway.

Crews will be working between County Road 622 and Route OO near Fisk.

Weather permitting, work will take place today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DRAINAGE WORK TO POSSIBLY CAUSE DELAYS TODAY IN CAMPBELL

Route B in Dunklin County will be reduced today so Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage work. 

The section of roadway being reduced is located from County Road 307 to Bailey Street in Campbell.

Weather permitting, work will take place today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
