MAN FLOWN TO ST. LOUIS HOSPITAL AFTER VEHICLE OVERTURNS AND STRIKES BUILDINGA Farmington man has been flown to a St. Louis hospital following a single vehicle wreck in Iron County.

According to the Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred on Missouri Highway 21, near Arcadia, Friday evening.

A vehicle driven by 55 year old, Todd Milfeld, reportedly ran off the side of the roadway, overturned, and then struck a building.

Milfeld suffered serious injuries and was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

The Highway Patrol did not release how much damage was done to the building.

 

WOMAN ARRESTED IN STODDARD COUNTY ON ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY WARRANT An Essex woman is in custody following her arrest in Stoddard County.

According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, 27 year old Patricia Leeann Martin was arrested on a warrant out of Iowa for escape from custody.

Officials say Martin is in jail and awaiting extradition at this time.

 

ROAD PROJECT TO BEGIN TODAY IN WAYNE AND IRON COUNTIES Route 49 in Wayne and Iron Counties will be reduced with a 10 foot width restriction beginning today so contractor crews can mill and perform paving operations.

The section of roadway to be reduced is located from the junction of Route 21/72/49 to Route 34.

Weather permitting, work will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Wednesday, August 31st.

 

KENNETT MAN ARRESTED IN RIPLEY COUNTY ON METH AND MARIJUANA CHARGES A man was taken into custody Saturday evening in Ripley County on meth and marijuana charges.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30 year old Scotty Pullam, of Kennett, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pullam was taken to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office on a 24 hour hold.

 

WOMAN ARRESTED IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS FOR POSSESSION OF CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE Authorities in Northeast Arkansas say that a woman has been taken into custody on a meth charge.

Greene County Sheriff David Carter tells KWOC News that Ashley Galvan was arrested Thursday afternoon for possession of crystal methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carter says that Galvan was also arrested on four warrants.

 

SIKESTON MAN FACING DRUG CHARGE FOLLOWING ARREST IN CARTER COUNTY A Sikeston man is facing a felony drug charge in connection to his arrest over the weekend.

According to authorities, 41 year old Matthew Thompson was arrested early Sunday morning in Carter County on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Thompson is also facing a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Following the arrest, Thompson was taken to the Carter County Jail on a 12 hour hold.

 

DATE SET FOR 28TH ANNUAL HAVEN HOUSE TRAIL RIDE A date has been set for the 28th Annual Haven House Trail Ride.

The event has been scheduled for Saturday, September 24th. According to the Haven House Facebook page, pledge sheets will begin to be mailed out this Friday to all previous riders.
